Naucalpan de Juárez, México

Postúlate

At AT&T, millions of sales transactions turn into paychecks—and getting that right takes more than spreadsheets. Behind the scenes, our Finance Commissions organization ensures sales compensation is calculated accurately, processed on time, and continuously improved through smarter data and automation. Our Mexico City team will be a critical part of that engine—validating complex commission activity across multiple systems, reconciling results end-to-end, and delivering the insights that help leaders run the business with confidence.

AT&T is seeking an Associate Director – Financial Analysis (Commissions) to lead commissions operations in Mexico City and supervise a team of analysts supporting a U.S.-based stakeholder group. In this role, you will provide day-to-day leadership, prioritize workload across the team, and ensure that sales commission results are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established rules and controls. You will also drive continuous improvement through standardization, automation, and strong cross-functional partnerships. If you are a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys solving complex compensation puzzles, we want to meet you!

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, setting expectations and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Oversee day-to-day commissions work, analysis, and reporting; review and finalize commissions processing and results
  • Manage team workload, prioritizing recurring cycles and ad hoc requests while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Act as the main liaison between U.S. commissions leadership and the Mexico City team, resolving issues and complex inquiries.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, enhancements, and automation opportunities.
  • Analyze commissions data and communicate insights, risks, and trends to Finance and Sales/IT partners.

What You Will Need:

  • Advanced MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas), PowerPoint, and Word
  • SQL for reconciliation and data mining
  • Power BI for dashboarding and reporting
  • Demonstrated expertise in data validation, reconciliations, variance analysis, and process documentation

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience in financial, payroll, sales compensation, or business analytics roles
  • Experience with sales compensation systems (e.g., Xactly, SAP IC, Callidus, or similar)
  • SQL experience for reconciliation and data mining
  • Experience in a shared services, global business services, or sales operations environment is a plus
  • Experience with automation tools or scripting for process improvement
  • Project management skills (certification is a plus, but not required)

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of team leadership or operations experience
  • Advanced conversational English is required. You’ll collaborate daily with U.S.-based stakeholders in finance and engineering.
  • The role is based in Mexico City. No relocation is offered. This position is hybrid; you may be expected to go into the office 3 days per week.
