AT&T is looking for a Sr. Specialist Data Analysis based in Mexico City. In this role, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing data from specific applications, systems, and/or databases to create reports and provide recommendations based on your analysis. You will prepare plans or recommend solutions to new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies, quantify the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, evaluate the potential impact of changes, and report on forecasts that affect the industry. You may also develop and conduct exploratory data analysis or predictive modeling.

What you will do:

• Work directly with the client user community and business analysts to define and document data requirements for data integration and business intelligence applications.
• Determine and document data mapping rules for the movement of medium- to high-complexity data between applications.
• Adhere to and promote the use of data administration standards.
• Support data selection, extraction, and cleansing for corporate applications, including data warehouse and data marts.
• Create and sustain processes, tools, and ongoing support structures.
• Investigate and resolve data issues across platforms and applications, including discrepancies of definition, format, and function.
• Create and populate metadata into repositories. May create data models, including robust data definitions, such as entity-relationship-attribute models, star, or dimensional models.
• May also create data flow diagrams and process models and integrate models across functional areas and platforms.
• Work closely with DBAs to transition logical models to physical implementation.
• May be responsible for employing data mining techniques to achieve data synchronization, redundancy elimination, source identification, data reconciliation, and problem root cause analysis.
• May also be responsible for quality control and auditing of databases, resolving data problems, and analyzing system changes for quality assurance.

What you will bring:

• Education: Preferred bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences; Data Analytics or Business Analyst nanodegree; or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Typically requires 2+ years of related experience.
• Fully bilingual: must speak, read, and write in Spanish and English.
• SQL knowledge.
• Power BI or Tableau experience.
